I got this invite on FB for this group [ HERE ], fair enough!?

Regardless what we do or don’t - even contemplating the various options regardless how extreme they might be, I think what we only have left now are our words & prayers. As soon as I joined the group this topic in the discussion board hit my eyes and I was like: “la2 pls! Not that this time of night man, I don’t tolerate stupidity when I am half sleepy and in pain!”

I had to.. Just had to share it. I guess this guy is gonna have rough times responding to all of the replies. I replied to a person nicknamed “Jet Farmer” <– I don’t think you should be talking politics neither should I honestly! And as our fellow Jordanians say: “allah yeg6a3ak”

Jack and Jill

January 5th, 2009 · Jacqui ·

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water,

Jack fell down and broke his crown,

But Jill didn’t come tumbling after.

Jill loved Jack

But didn’t want to feel the whack

of tumbling after.

[Something written out of boredom and reading a previous post, hope you enjoy it]

Rnaomd Prgu

Why do we have to say 2008, 2009, why not say 8, 9, I mean we all know its 2000 something, so why not say 9? My friend did not remind me to get her the movie and started complaining, so I told her " I am a guy, I forget." Not my fault I was [...]

Teacher Orders Students to Strip

January 5th, 2009 · intlxpatr ·

From Al Watan. Wonder how much longer this teacher will have a job? What was she thinking???

KUWAIT: Enraged parents of young female students at one of the intermediate schools in Hawally have filed a complaint against an Egyptian teacher, who ordered all the girls in the classroom to strip. A reliable source said: “The Egyptian teacher entered the classroom and asked the students about the source of some foul odor emanating from the classroom. The students however refused to admit or identify the girl who broke a chemical ampoule, so she allegedly ordered all the students to take off their clothes. The students in turn informed their parents about the incident, after which a group of parents filed a complaint against the teacher at the AlـNugra Police Station.”

“That’s what she said” joke…

January 5th, 2009 · Loolykinns Teh P1r473 ·

I’m surprised that some of my friend’s doesn’t know about this joke. As described in URBAN DICTIONARY, It’s… Hell! I’ll just quote what I find the most appropriate explaination for such joke: 1. Used to add sexual innuendo to a conversation. 2. When a male wants to share with his friends that he was with a girl (whether [...]

An Affair with Hermès

January 5th, 2009 · Confashion ·

I have a love/hate relationship with Hermès. I love the Birkin (but not when I see it in the Avenues at least 6 times in one day! Or at very formal events), I love Lindy, Kelly, Jypsiere, JPG, HAC, Kelly Longue, Clic Clac bangle, scarves.. etc. But I hate the attitude of it's staff, not all of them of course. Some of the sales people I met in different Hermès Boutiques were extremely friendly and down to earth. But the majority had a major attitude. Maybe that's part of the brand's identity?

Anyhow, The 170-year-old luxury brand is now available in Bahrain's Moda Mall. It seems that Hermès has not been affected by the recession like other fashion houses. Because I saw 2 kellys in store that were snatched up immediately the next day. And sorry girls, No birkins are available for now.

Wise Men Still Seek Him

January 5th, 2009 · intlxpatr ·

“Oh! You’re putting your Christmas things away!” I noticed, as I was picking up my friend.

“No, no, not until after Epiphany!” she said. “Our tradition is to take down the tree when Epiphany is over.”

Tomorrow, January 6, is The Feast of Holy Epiphany and in celebration, I will post two more works of art I found to celebrate the wise men seeking the child by following a mysterious star. Many people are still looking for a scientific foundation for the Star of Wonder and if you click on the blue Star of Wonder it will take you to a very good discussion of some of the possibilities from BBC News.

I like this one because the Wise Men have on clothing that really looks Persian:

Here, in a painting by Murillo, they look, not surprisingly, Spanish/European, except for the African!

I wonder if in their travels, these wise men came through Kuwait?

Plug your ears while playing golf!!

January 5th, 2009 · Loolykinns Teh P1r473 ·

I never thought Titanium drivers could do sonic booms… Did they take a single hair from “Gile” to build them? I’ll make it short; Using Titanium drivers causes sonic booms which, in the long run, damages ear… More details? Check the BBC Link to know more about it.
